The “secrets” of Croatian diplomacy and politics made public
(CROATIA – WWI ;
Croatian mothers – Human rights ;
Croatia – Italy scandal ;
Croatia – ICTY / EU ;
Croatia, Ah Croatia….)
The absurd of modern times: Croatia and Croatian best soldiers of the Homeland war are falsely accused for the “crimes” of defending their homeland, their neighbors and their homes.
Croatian president and the government remain meek – if not protective - towards communist and chetnik/Serbian/Yugoslav army crimes, the final goal of which is to reverse the historical truth.
They’ve been experienced at this via their communist past, but secret-minded as they may endeavor to be, they’re transparent: Mostly, they’re the enemies of Croatia; in some milder cases, their entire politics are in fact run by Croatian enemies; and in still milder cases, they collaborate with the enemies making impossible compromises that ruin Croatia. Each case is a horror that calls for a true catastrophe.
“Croatian” diplomacy by deception, still reposing on old communist precepts (judging from all that’s accomplished so far), subtly kneels before false gods into withdrawal of Croatia’s accusation for genocide against Serbia, before even discussing it at the ICTY (Ivan Simonovic - hr). This issue would be negotiated secretly – with whom? Not with Croatian victims, to be sure.
Here’s a guidance provided by “one of the most prominent Croatian political analysts” Davor Gjenero. (Is he “prominent for he campaigns for president Mesic and pro-Yugoslav/-Serbian groups such as “stina” from Split? See “stina” profile in English too, originally supported by G. Soros’s Open Society).
Gjenero has emptied against Croatia all ammunition of communist era, so he seeks a justification and cover-up for the Serbian crimes in the WWI. He comments the failure of Bosnia-Herzegovina’s accusation for genocide against Serbia (Srebrenica), and campaigns for the withdrawal of Croatia’s accusation against Serbia (Vukovar, Škabrnja, Voćin, Dubrovnik...) :
"It seems to me that the position publicly taken by professor Simonovic has been very thoughtful and reasonable. Croatia is in a serious trouble because it didn’t function as a normal state of law and order. Many processes have been developing without completed [defined] administrative [procedure]. I think that, regarding this verdict [in favour of Serbia] it’s important to stress the negative experience at the end of the WWI when the allocation of war reparations to Germany created the basis for creating a fascist majority. For this reason, the international powers are not inclined to making decision about the war reparations payments,” says Gjenero for Index.
Perhaps Gjenero can explain why Serbs are given half of Bosnia-Herzegovina at the diplomatic table, following their military defeat in Croatia and Bosnia-Herzegovina (Operation Storm), whilst once Croatian population in Bosnia-Herzegovina fell to ever thin 10%!
And: About which international powers Gjenero is talking, and whose “fascism”?
Only Serbia proved to be using fascist methods [link in English] in the sense that this term has been familiar to the world.
Gjenero, however, campaigns in favour of Serbia. To him, Croatian foreign politics should remain “continuous” through the “secret negotiations” without insisting on the president’s and the government’s public position on this crucial issue of genocide against Croatia. “Some diplomatic processes must be run silently,” Gjenero argues.
Well, well… Since Croatia’s independence Gjenero and his international supporters insisted on transparency of Croatia’s politics in all domains, and look at them now!
On another note, the “human right” activists accused even Croatian mothers (Bedem Ljubavi) for war mongering in the early 1990s, for they “transferred their sons into Croatian army from the communist/Yugoslav (Serbian) army.” (Puhovski – hr at the “conference for the post war truth” that took place in Zagreb and hosted even the ICTY’s prosecutors of Croatia). The mothers’ association of course seeks justice against Puhovski’s insult on injury.
Yugoslav army and Serbian chetniks attacked Croatia following its declaration of independence in the early 1990s. Croatian mothers prayed for the release of their sons from the Yugoslav armed forces, in which their sons happened to be serving a mandatory service just at the time of Croatia’s proclamation of independence. Should have Croatian mothers asked their Croatian sons to stay in the enemy armed forces, forced into the tanks, planes and on the front lines against their own people and homeland? Absurd! Yugoslav army was – secretly, of course – preparing for the attack against Croatia much before the war even started, hoping to smash Croatia within a couple of days. Some international forces gave them the blessing (Refer to Anatomy of Deceit by J. Blaskovich) Now, even Croatian mothers are guilty for Milosevic’s evil unaccomplished in its entire agenda.
So the myth of Croatian guilt is ready to go, and perhaps even be exported? For, in the country so full of “guilt,” every massacre against the people and against the truth would be permissible.
Of course, these “prominent” figures enjoy protection by the president of Croatia.
The mediocrity Croatia’s president who still enjoys the prime minister’s support is vast. But now they’re on the open with the treason of Croatia.
And I “digress” here to sadly notice that Mesic, his gangster Cacic (HNS) as Mesic called him once, and most of today’s visible politicians in power or “opposition,” have had their roots not only deep in the communist system but also in the one that marked the young age of Croatia’s independence. They’ve had their lucrative business even in Croatia’s Ministry of Defense during the war (e.g. Mesic family’s “Cement” enterprise) (50% of the State budget was accorded to MOD at the time), and some highly positioned figures in “HDZ’s MOD” participated even in Mesic’s 1999-2000 electoral campaign (the late MOD’s Finance Dept Assistant Chief Branko Barisic). But the communist secret services didn’t have full control of Croatia… as now. Those who won the defense war under such circumstances: they’re genius indeed. And the secret of their genius lies in love for Croatia, freedom and true Croatia’s values.
Back to the “exports” of Croatian “experiment” of justice…
The only “firmness” Croatian political and public “prominent figures” have ever demonstrated unconditionally and continuously lies in their covering for communist and Serbian crimes.
During the recent diplomatic scandal between Croatia and Italy, president Mesic attacked Italian president for bringing up the issue of communists’ post-WWII crimes against Italian minority in Croatia.
Mesic first tried to justify it by “revenge” for fascist crimes (in the same way Serbian total destruction of Croatian Vukovar in 1991 was to be justified and devoted to the Jews by the Serbs – something even a Jewish author Alain Finkelkraut distanced from with indignation in Le Monde, 7 Oct 1998 - fr). As Mesic didn’t find a fertile soil in Europe for planting his seed of justice, he attempted to accuse Italian president for “revenge” (revansizam). (Haven’t I been reminding us that the genuine communists are always speaking of their crimes when attacking the others). But Italy and Europe made it clear that Mesic was speaking to the anti-fascists, and Mesic withdrew. He wouldn’t make them guilty for communist crimes (former Yugoslavia) against them, like he did make guilty Croatians for recent Serbian aggression (defense) – his experiment failed. Mesic then offered to pay out reparations to Italy and asked for the account number to which the funds would be directed so to by some grace following his political debacle in Europe.
The prominent Gjenero failed to request the right to secret negotiations for Croatian prime minister and his diplomacy on this occasion: PM Sanader and his diplomacy were standing publicly for Mesic. Suddenly, they didn’t worry what European Union would think about Croatia’s entry into EU – they stand up only for protecting communist crimes.
Yes, it is blatantly obvious now that they never showed fortitude in defending Croatia’s independence heroes from false accusations at the ICTY – under the pretext that the EU would be against Croatia. Which false myths their diplomacy has been spreading about Croatia’s heroes, for the EU to have such demands from Croatia?
The fact is they continuously and jointly defend and cover for Serbian and communist crimes.
I, Croatian patriot and soldier, felt some strange satisfaction at this suspicious and obvious contradiction that Mesic and Sanader displayed in the clash with Italy: For once more, I hoped it would become obvious to everyone that in Croatia these same people still work to ruin, imprison and prosecute everyone serious who dare to speak up of Croatian victims of communism.
En plus, Croatian journalist Domagoj Margetic, imprisoned to 3 months term in The Hague for disclosing Mesic’s treason (and Serbian and communist crimes, by the way), is also ordered 10,000 euros fine to pay. Mesic, together with Croatian government and the ICTY, managed to put him in prison instead of referring to his journalistic records and paying for damage to Croatians; but to the Italy he will pay, only to burry his hypocrisy as soon as possible. Of course I congratulate Italian president, government, and Italy for their response to Mesic, and the idea of Croatia’s joining EU becomes sympa to me for the first time. But I’m absolutely suspicious of Croatian politics of joining EU via Balkan unions that serve only to protect Serbian and communist criminals, and I’m ashamed of today’s Croatia’s president, government and whoever among our own made their rule possible in the new century. Europe, too, should beware of their “European” intentions.
The treason of Croatia being so obvious, so-called elections being a farce where nearly all visible players are controlled by the same enemy, the same traitors or the same Gjenero’s “international powers” to which they bow (indeed, who they are?? Why secrecy…) – only the iron fence is missing so to hide the insults of democracy and anti-fascism as demonstrated in Croatian “democratic” experiment where the line between “democrats” and “communists” have never been thinner. Is that what they’re trying to re-establish in Croatia (“Balkan”) and export to EU…. It seems they don’t event try to deceive any longer – they act openly against Croatia… Why do they still occupy the positions of power and influence in Croatia??
As we saw, the iron fence is falling apart again and again, despite “secret negotiations.” The “prominent” figures are falling back and seeking the refuge in the WWI period so to justify the ideologies, injustices and the crimes of the past century. All the ideologies of the past century failed, bloodily, but the crimes and injustices are still been incited…
The way things go, we shouldn’t mind going back to the middle age or close, so to set the records straight. No secrecy.
Gjenero and his “International powers” [secret, too?] might, for example, learn/teach the history lessons starting from La Vendée-Vengé : Le génocide franco-français (fr) before they tread the judgment about Croatia and its right to reparations. Their “analytics” on Croatia have nothing to do with Croatia’s reality, unique geo-political circumstances or history. (That’s why Croatian history is still shrouded in Bolshevik/communist myths) But wouldn’t that be too much to ask from such “prominent” analysts, their secret-minded political favorites in Croatian governmental and presidential offices, their “secret witnesses” and “thoughtful and reasonable” diplomacy.
Italy has won its battle; Croatia is still to win its own. But with whom. God knows.
Rise and fear not. (St. Mathew)
